  • Re: Start++ & Windows 7

    I've tried your latest build 2 on Windows 7 and there is an issue that I am seeing. When I use the SUDO command, it works but the UAC confirmation dialog is minimized and I have to switch to it on the taskbar manually. Kind of defeats the purpose of having a quick way to SUDO something. The test machine is a new Win7 install with the default UAC ...

  • Problem with Picture gadget

    It scales everything to a square frame, which is utterly inconvinient. You should rather scale the size to fit in the viewing area but keep the original ratio. One more thing: I always try my best to make changes and only ask you what I, as user, can't modify without breaking into the hard code.

  • A flaw with gadgets

    I am trying Google search Gadget. Whenever I hit [ENTER] to Submit, the ''http://google.com/search?q=%+'' is opened beautifully in Firefox (my default browser). However, if I clicked on a search result from the gadget, this link is opened in IE7. This is still OK for me overlooking the lack of all those cool extensions, but many of my friends ...

  • Re: Bug report : 2 things

    Brandon,   I'm seeing 2 problems since the last update. First, upon startup I get a pop-up with no title saying ''The input string was not in a correct format''. Second, none of the play shortcuts work. Each and every oen of them says it couldn't find any matching media. I've got 24 albums by U2 in my media library, so there seems to be ...

  • Re: Bug report : zoom factor

    Just to let you know, the 0.7.7 update didn't fix the zoom factor problem on my computer. The app will correctly LOAD ''0.8'', but will SAVE ''0,8'' and will later get an error when trying to load ''0,8''. Also, even after a successful load of the ''0.8'' value, the zoom factor is still not applied to the gadget when it's ...

  • Re: pics command

    OK, sorry for the late reply. From what I can see, the problem seems to be with start++, not with your system, or files. If you look at the generated code, near the top you can see the following line :var SYSTEM_KIND = [ ''picture'' ''picture''  ]; This is invalid javascript. It should be :var SYSTEM_KIND = [ ''picture'', ''picture''  ...

  • Bug report : zoom factor

    I found a bug with the zoom factor setting for the start gadgets. My local settings are set to fr-CA, which uses the comma instead of the period for the decimal separator. This means that I need to enter 0,8 instead of 0.8 in order to indicate an 80% zoom. This seams to causes some problems : First, when opening the application for the first ...
