I'm still getting this issue with 0.4.6.
Further information:
Proxy is an ISA Server Proxy. IE is set to Bypass proxy server for local addresses, and is set to be the same proxy for all protocols.
The authentication is done via NT Authentication to the proxy server, rather than a specified username/password.
Following is a trace from the Fiddler tool:
