I would like the same thing -- a simple way to define shortcuts for the Start menu in Windows 7, such as "g" for Google, "wiki" for Wikipedia, etc.
So I'm really looking forward to the updated version of Start++.
In the meantime --- the shortcut functionality can be provided (even when Start++ is not running) by a set of *.cmd files in C:\Users\your_name\AppData\Local\Start++\CMDs .
It looks like it should be possible to write a simple set of *.exe commands that would invoke IE, open folder, launch Searches, etc.
Has anyone been able to achieve this?
... still running Vista for now.. Thanks.
