This is an experimental build of Start++ designed to work properly on Windows 7.  It has not been tested extensively and has not been tested on Windows Vista.  It is largely the same as the previous 0.8.1 Vista build.

Updated 11/06/2009 - Build 2 addresses three problems:

  1. A window that was supposed to be hidden was showing up in Alt+Tab.
  2. Double-clicking the tray icon didn't always bring the configuration window to the foreground.
  3. Minor UI / layout tweaks for the custom start menu UIs.

Just found this, very nice. I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit and I'm having trouble with getting the links to open up in firefox. I'm running 3.6 of FF and have set my default programs to Firefox for the .htm* and HTTP* protocols, any ideas? Great program!

Clint - run the Firefox installer and check the box to make it the default browser.

Getting this message on all the download links: Oops something went wrong! Either the site is offline or an unhandled error occurred. We apologize and have logged the error. Please try your request again or if you know who your site administrator is let them know too. ...Setting up a new laptop and don't know how I am going to manage with Start++!! I'm having problems downloading Start++ now. Sounds like a similar issue to last time?

If you try often enough, the download works.
